Breath and Consciousness are intimately interwoven. As we breathe more deeply into our bodies, we are inviting awareness into parts of ourselves (or our past) that have long been stored away. As we bring awareness to the areas that have been hidden, our bodies innate healing abilities kick in; we release what has been holding us back, and we step closer into our full potential. Details to prepare you for our premabreathwork session: If you plan to join, please read everything below! Breathwork awakens your body's inner intelligence, and thus your innate ability to HEAL. As your mind quiets down, you enter into the deeper (and more subtle) realms of sensation and emotion. As your breath stirs energy that has been stored, you have the opportunity to release anything that has been blocking you from EXPERIENCING your higher potential. Participants report experiences such as getting clear insights into issues in their lives, improving relationships with their friends and family, feeling less isolated and more connected to the world, becoming more present, and thus making the best choices on a moment to moment basis. What is breathwork? Breathwork is an active meditation technique that uses the breath to purge the body of emotional and stagnant energy. The experience itself moves stored emotional energy and facilitates the release of strong emotions like anger, grief and so much more. It can often leave you feeling lighter, more open, and less burdened. What is the Prema Breathwork technique? The process itself uses very simple means: with the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath with this technique along with any music in the room to enter a non-ordinary state of consciousness. This state activates the natural inner healing process of the individual’s psyche, bringing him or her a particular set of internal experiences. With the inner healing intelligence guiding the process, the quality and content brought forth is unique to each person and for that particular time and place. While recurring themes are common, no two sessions are ever alike. Many practitioners feel this breathwork provides a direct, replicable, physical experience of Divine Love (Prema) through the saturation of the body with prana.
